At the Nutrimi 2025 congress, Moovet’s Co-founder and CSO, Dr. Cristina Lecchi, unveiled for the first time the innovative role of microRNAs as biomarkers of animal wellbeing.
During her presentation, she illustrated how miRNAs—analyzed through non-invasive samples—can become objective and reproducible tools to measure stress levels and quality of life in both livestock and companion animals.
This marks a new frontier for the One Health approach, integrating animal, human, and environmental health.
